Advocacy learning lab

The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Advocacy Learning Lab (ALL) is an online resource to support advocacy organizations that advance the needs of children, youth, and families in the community and public policy arena. ALL was created to help organizations meet their critical capacity-building needs by providing real-time access to specific tools, templates, and resources. ALL is a resource to a range of national, state, and local advocates advancing equitable policies and programs.

What are competencies?

ALL’s content is structured around a set of competencies, which include strategic leadership, organizational development, data analysis, policy advocacy and engagement, strategic communications, and racial equity and inclusion. The Advocacy Learning Lab’s core competencies were identified as essential components to advance equitable policies that improve the lives of children, youth, and families.

Which ALL Platform Should I Use?

There are two sites for the Advocacy Learning Lab. The ALL community on Community Café is where all of the monthly alerts with recently released reports and resources are posted as well as content expounding on ALL’s set of competencies. The Advocacy Learning Lab is complemented by a library of curated resources on a separate site. You can learn more about how to use and navigate the two sites here.

How Do I Gain Access?

Please email Jasmine Jones ([email protected]) to join the Advocacy Learning Lab.
Once subscribed to ALL, you will have access to both of the Advocacy Learning Lab platforms
and you will receive a monthly digest of recently released national and state reports.
